Although you can find several different names of plans there are basically four types of coverage. Our goal is to make it simple by avoiding all the industry technical language. Below is a list of GW plans. We have explained the coverage and even provided an example of covered items.

1.) Premier Coverage
This is the most comprehensive protection GW offers for your vehicle. There will be some exceptions such as paint, carpeting, and tires but most of the major components will be covered. It will not cover any of your routine maintenance, however. Premier coverage is often referred to as “Exclusionary Coverage” or sometimes you have heard car dealers use the colloquial phrase or cliché: "Bumper to Bumper Coverage".

2.) Comprehensive Coverage
This is the best "inclusionary" coverage GW offers. It will list everything that IS covered by your policy. The major components of your vehicle, like the engine and transmission, and hundreds of smaller items, like your starter, alternator and various pumps, are protected with this plan.

3.) Powertrain Plus Coverage
This coverage was created to get the most protection for high mileage drivers, like sales men. This is an exceptional plan covering your engine, water pump, transmission, transfer case as well as certain parts of your air conditioning and electrical systems.

4.) Powertrain Coverage
This coverage is the least expensive of all GW plans, but still covers the most costly repairs on “high ticket” items and is easy to fit into your budget. This plan is a catastrophic coverage plan.
